Prabej began his career in banking, building a deep understanding of financial systems and enterprise operations, before moving into technology sales — serving as Head of Sales for British and Russian software companies and gaining international exposure across enterprise software and B2B technology markets.

Between 2017 and 2019 he taught A-level Business at British Model College, where Pravin Khatri was among his students. That teacher–student relationship sparked an informal business partnership from 2017 itself — formalised in 2020 when Binex Solution Private Limited, which Prabej had founded in 2014, was re-registered as Pregasus Enterprises, co-founded with Pravin.

He also brings expertise in investment portfolio management, bridging the worlds of finance and technology to ensure Pregasus's solutions are always commercially grounded.

The Khatri family has been in technology since 2011, trading computer goods across the Nepali market. Pravin joined the family business in 2017 after completing his School Leaving Certificate — not as an heir sitting back, but as an active contributor, learning the group's operations from the ground up.

In 2020 he co-founded Pregasus Enterprises — the group's technology and BPO arm — bringing a new generation's energy to the portfolio: a passion for startups, hands-on ventures in business, and a constant fusion of new ideas.
